Hikes on the Olympic Peninsula
in
Washington State
with Rob Dougall
This blog chronicles my day hikes on the Olympic Peninsula. I take relatively easy hikes so I can think about the book I am writing on cosmology rather than thinking about the difficulty of the hike. My ideal hikes:
· Are less than 10 miles in length;
· Involve little or no elevation gain;
· Are in fair weather, rated “A” or “B” (see below);
· Involve some sort of interesting natural feature.
Hike Rating System
Rating Description
A Clear and sunny
B Partly sunny – with no precipitation
C Overcast – with no precipitation
D Intermittent precipitation
F Constant precipitation

I like the personal feeling behind your trip report. Very good. I also like how you explained your hike rating.
I like the color scheme of your site, but can you make your title “Olympic Hikes” bolder or a different color? I have trouble reading it.

I appreciate your comments and suggestion. I think I will try a darker color for the title.
